Pool-Krete® Swimming Pool Aggregate
Pool-Krete® insulating concrete is designed to provide a cushioned and protective support for below grade vinyl liners.



Pool-Krete® products are also used as base materials for above-ground pools to provide a soft or hard pad that will prevent damage to the vinyl liner.
— Two Formulations Available —
Pool-Krete® is a factory prepared blend of exfoliated vermiculite and portland cement with special additives to aid in mixing, pumping, placing and troweling of materials. Pool-Krete® is packaged in one bag and requires only the addition of water at the job site. Swimming Pool Aggregate (SPA) is a blend of exfoliated vermiculite with special admixtures to aid in the mixing, pumping, placing and troweling of materials. SPA requires the addition of water and portland cement at the job site.
Pool-Krete® Premix offers these advantages:
  • PREBLENDED to assure correct proportions of vermiculite and cement in each batch — no need for bagged cement and bagged aggregate at the job site or using partial bags.
  • EASY LOADING AND UNLOADING, palletized and stretch-wrapped.
  • PACKAGED IN RUGGED BAGS.
  • ALLOWS MORE CONSISTENT BATCHES, since only the addition of water is required at the job site.
  • REDUCED INSTALLATION TIME because special additives make it easier to mix, pump and trowel... less manpower required.
  • EASILY TROWELED to a smooth finish.
  • FORMS A BASE THAT IS NON-ABRASIVE and forms a cushion that will not tear or puncture the vinyl liner like sand or granite bases, results in longer liner life.
  • FORMS A FIRM BASE that will not indent with foot traffic.
 Swimming Pool Aggregate offers these advantages:
